Look Both Ways!

Have you ever been in a controlling or emotional demanding relationship?

At this point in my life i can say that i am tired of being bossed around. Just because our title is byfriend and girlfriend exclusively does not mean that you have control.

When a guy or a girl gets control over your mind the usually get control over your body whether it is sexually or physical abuse. They start to demand sex or else. they will cheat or find it somewhere else. Tell them to kick rocks, no one owns anyone.
I just think its weird how people can get caught up in the thrills of LOVE. It can break you as a person....you can lose face value....

Value as a person mentally.... cutting off all your friends just because that person didnt like your friends or the fact that you have friends of the opposite sex. You start to hang out with that person and feel alone with your back against the wall giving in to their every whim.
Now there is nothing wrong with doing things for the person you love but there is something wrong when you do things for the one you love just because you are scared that they will leave you or that they will do damage to your value.
or maybe just value....

You could be spending your last dime on the person you call your love and they could care less about the suffering you go through. Its not about money its about te relationship you share with that other person.

trust is a major part in a relationship but.... when you trust each other but the trust is a lie...
You can trust that person but all signs lead to cheating and you can feel it in your gut...or better yet you get a symptom you never had....(pause)
Yeah trust goes a long way.... there is always that person that gives their heart up with out any boundaries and ends up being hurt.

Dont play love softly....having a hard heart isnt a bad thing it protects you from the things that wil hurt you most...have a hard heart but an open mind for love.

In psychology, there is a theory entitled the "facial feedback" hypothesis. This hypothesis states that:

Davis and Palladino explain that "feedback from facial expression affects emotional expression and behavior" (2000).

YOU can actually improve your mood by smiling. So the next time you put LOL in a text you should actually crack a smile!!

Got A Big ECO

It is now a trend to be green...not green with envy, but Green as in Recycling. Reduse Reuse Recycle. It is now our responsibility as humans to take care of our planet earth.

Alot of people would like to recycle but they dont know how to recycle. here are some ways you can help.

*First you can start small by buying products that are organic... such as organic foods (which do not use pesticides or growth hormones, that can effect the earth), instead of using plactic when grocery shopping use a reusable shopping bag or keep paper bags handy, you can also buy eco-friendly cosmetics such as brushes made of bamboo, there are also things like recycled toilet paper and paper towels.

*In your home you can recycle by buying in bulk sometimes to reduse packaging. Reusing Boxes and plastic bottles. You can also join you community in recycling by using the designated recycling days in your city to put out the recyclables separate from the trash. To save energy in your house you can use energy efficient light bulbs and/ or unplug appliances when you arent using them.

remember you dont have to do alot to recycle just think smart about the products you buy or how much you waste.

Black is Wack?

You ever feel like you wear soo much black that people thought you was in mourning?

Well studies show that if you wear colors it brightens your personality. color has the power of changing emotions and when you just wear all black....not soo much.

Dont feel like you have to be gay to love colors...colors are Universal & beautiful. wear them...with discretion. lol

Pink signifies romance, love, and friendship. It denotes feminine qualities and passiveness.

Dark red is associated with vigor, willpower, rage, anger, leadership, courage, longing, malice, and wrath.

Brown suggests stability and denotes masculine qualities.

Red-orange corresponds to desire, sexual passion, pleasure, domination, aggression, and thirst for action.

Gold evokes the feeling of prestige. The meaning of gold is illumination, wisdom, and wealth. Gold often symbolizes high quality.

Dark green is associated with ambition, greed, and jealousy.

Yellow-green can indicate sickness, cowardice, discord, and jealousy.

Aqua is associated with emotional healing and protection.

Olive green is the traditional color of peace.

Light blue is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding, and softness.

Dark blue represents knowledge, power, integrity, and seriousness.

Light purple evokes romantic and nostalgic feelings.

White means safety, purity, and cleanliness.

Trendy Girl

There are some fashions that i absolutely love!

In my closet i have a rainbow of bright colored over sized tees, pencil skirts, booties and animal prints. Being a student gives me a reason to dress crazy when i come to school. My style muses are M.I.A., Rihanna, Beyonce, Kate Moss, and yes...Lindsay Lohan. lol All of these women styles and attitudes are out of the box and similar to my style.

I can be who ever i want to be if i just choose the right outfit.

I can wear a pencil skirt and some heels to school or work. I also love purses! Betsey Johnson Bags are my fav!

Today i am my definition of: rocker grunge. i have my fringe leather bag...leather jacket...my hair in a bang poppin off...some black eyeliner and black eyeshadow with a pink lip and some destroyed jeans.

maybe tomorrow i will be a grunge Barbie!

Touch the Sky

My favorite type of shoe other than booties is platform shoes. To me they seem to be more comfortable than any regular heel or pump. It just seems like that extra height in the front makes it sexier and comfortable. I can wear them in the club for hours, in fashion shows or strut across campus in them.

I have B.C.B.G., Jessica Simpson, & Doll House platforms to name a few. From expensive to inexpensive they are a fashion staple.

I really want some Christian Louboutin platforms with the red bottom trademark which was chosen because one of his workers was painting her nails with a daring red paint. Some YSL tribute platforms...or some Giambasita Vali platforms...just about any platform can catch my eye.

My love of platforms started with the art and design of platforms and also how it makes my legs look longer and leaner. Platforms werent always about the look but more so about status. Venice in the 1600s, platforms were known as chopine's. ususaly worn to show status and were measured ot be up to 30in high. (platform diva). No matter how old platforms seem to be a style that is timeless and fun.
